Each year, the Montcalm Community College Foundation is proud to provide more than $400,000 in student aid and scholarships. Please connect with our helpful financial aid staff to learn about all the financial resources that may be available to you. *Please note that you must be an admitted MCC student with a student ID and email address to apply for MCC Foundation scholarships.

MCCF Summer Semester Scholarship

The MCC Foundation is offering a scholarship to help students who continue their education at MCC during the 2025 summer semester. The funds will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, so you will want to apply soon! Funds used for this scholarship require that you live within the MCC service district (be in-district) or the Belding school district. If you are not sure, please call 989-328-1277 to verify. Award amounts will be based on the number of contact hours for which a student is registered and include: 3 to 5 contact hours – up to $350; 6-8 contact hours – up to $700; 9+ contact hours - up to $1,000. 

 

Note that a completed FAFSA is strongly encouraged for the award. Our helpful financial aid staff are available to answer FAFSA-related questions, discuss challenges in completing the FAFSA, and explore additional scholarships/aid opportunities with you.

The Summer Semester Scholarship application is open until all funds have been awarded. Apply early to better your chances of recieving funds!

MCCF Legacy Scholarships

By completing one short application, applicants will be considered for almost all MCCF endowed scholarships (except a few essay applications which are done separately and can be found below).

Note that a completed FAFSA is required for the award. Our helpful financial aid staff are available to answer FAFSA-related questions, discuss challenges in completing the FAFSA, and explore additional scholarships/aid opportunities with you.

The MCCF Legacy Scholarship Application will open for the 26-27 academic year during the Fall 2025 semester.

MCCF "MCC Made Me" Scholarship


The MCCF "MCC Made Me" Scholarship is for a new or returning student pursuing a career in industrial trades (preference of tool and die) or nursing with demonstrated financial need. Eligibility and instructions are provided on the application. 

Application Closed for the 25-26 Academic Year

The MCCF "MCC Made Me" Scholarship Application will open for the 26-27 academic year during the Spring 2026 semester. 

MCCF Michael J. Seaman Memorial Scholarship


The MCCF Michael J. Seaman Memorial Scholarship is for new, current, or returning MCC students. Preference may be given to someone who has demonstrated leadership experience. Eligibility and instructions are provided on the application.

MCCF Montcalm Democrats for Community Scholarship


The MCCF Montcalm Democrats for Community Scholarship is for a high school senior or current MCC student who has demonstrated community service or involvement in public service. Eligibility and instructions are provided on the application.
